A Heads Up!

Easy Peasy
The majority of middle-upper market Indies offer is directed at the Special Occasion Wear market and since they offer a very personal service to their customers they are very well placed to take advantage of this business. Whether we are in recession or not people will still get married, children will be confirmed and the horses will still race.
More and more Indies are providing top to toe walk out the door solutions. It makes sense to take advantage of the add on sales, for example shapewear, head wear, hosiery and shoes. One word of caution though on the foot front. The shoe business is an extremely costly and difficult area to get involved with if your expertise lies in clothing. Perhaps link to a nearby Shoe store and co-ordinate colours and trends when buying.
More and more retailers are offering shapewear and the sales of Spanx and now Yummie Tummie bares (excuse the pun) this out.
It’s not only the horses who go into training for the Galway Races and headwear is de riguer to complete the outfit. Consider a visit to http://www.vvrouleaux.com and take a look at the amazing selection of bits and bobs that go into making fascinators, hats and head bands. Head Bands are right on trend and are easy peasy to make. I visited the VV Rouleaux when I was in London last week and picked up what I needed to make the headbands I will take to Galway . They cost 20 euro and ten minutes to put together. A glue gun and double sided tape were all that was needed!
