In and Out
I arrived at TV3 at 6.3o this morning to help out Heather Thomson, designer and force behind the Yummie Tummie success story. Having met her for the first time the evening before with her friend Pam, who by the way makes the most gorgeous Jewellery. Take a peek at the dazzling range at Good Charma. Ciara Crilly from Brown Thomas marketing( a major PR whizz )was there with Laura O’Brien from Kennedy PR.
They were looking quite worried and then they were looking at me very strangely. My first thought was I’m only a few minutes late what’s the problem? I was only there to support Heather, or so I thought…….
The worried expressions were due to the fact that one of the models hadn’t turned up and as Ciara asked me what size I was I knew something was was going down. The result was that ten minutes later I made my debut on TV and stood with my tummy sticking out on live TV. I made horrible faces in the before pics ! Take a look on TV3 and share my embarrassing first (and only) modelling assignment! Let me know if you agree that the after pics are a huge improvement.
After the TV3 show was over we all went back to the Dylan hotel and crossed the road to the Espresso Bar where the good and wholesome breakfast was only interrupted by the incessant flies hovering around. It was straight to Brown Thomas on Grafton Street where women who had seen Heather on TV were lined up waiting for her . At three Karen Koster from Xpose arrived with a film crew and a model. The Xpose peice is going out tomorrow on TV3 at 6pm. Heather was still as energetic and enthusiastic as ever and the day finished at 5 O’Clock.
The Saba restaurant was the perfect venue for some R and R . Bottles of good wine Thai food and a packed and buzzing dining room which is brilliant to see in recession worn Dublin on a Monday night ended a very busy day filled with surprises and lots of good business.
