Kiehls arrives in Dublin
Kiehls apothecary opened in New York in 1851 and today a Kiehls stand alone store opened on Wicklow Street Dublin. I have been a Kiehls customer for over 15 years buying it in Space NK, Selfridges and Vancouver whenever I happened by. Now I have it literally on my doorstep and I’m really excited by this new addition to Dublin as it has the complete range of Face, Body, Hair, Fragrance, Baby, Sun Care and Gifts.
A real New York vibe hits you when you enter and the great staff spend lots of time making sure that you only buy exactly to your needs paying huge attention to skin, hair type and whatever specific areas you want to address. Their range of skin care,( including the fantastic Creme de Corps which has been an iconic body moisturising product which is great for dry skin for years) is vast. They have every product in the Dublin shop covering all skin types. The formulas are very specifically and carefully selected with minimal preservatives. I love the packaging which has not changed in all the years I’ve known it, it’s got a really great retro look to it and I can’t help loving looking at the bottles on my bathroom shelves.
There was great excitement on Wicklow Street today and the staff all wearing the obligitory Kiehls White coats were handing out great samples. So girls get down and enter an old fashioned style apothecary with cutting edge products which is sure to be a huge hit with all beauty product addicts out there.
